Joe Anderson and friends have over the past seven years provided a high-end Christmas Dinner to the Meridian Police Department on Christmas day. This started out as a way to “redeem Christmas” for the Anderson family, and have it be about giving back. We thought there was a need to serve our police. It turned out, it meant much more to them than we ever could have imagined.
This year we are blessed to also be able to serve the Canyon County Sheriff's Department, the Ada County Sheriff's Department, Boise Police Department, and the Nampa Police Department. We need 6-8 volunteers per shift at each location. We are planning on 9 meals serving approximately 450 Officers.
Their Christmas meal will consist of:
Smoked Beef Brisket * Smoked Louisiana-style Dry Rub Chicken
Cilantro Lime Coconut Rice * Homemade Beans * Cranberry Gorgonzola Coleslaw
Chips - Desserts - Drinks
Please join us in "Giving Back" to those who would give their lives to protect us.
We service hundreds of officers and the cost to putting on these events runs over $1,000 per station. With 5 stations this year, we need your help now, more than ever.
Please show your giving spirit this year to help us show these officers how much they mean to us.

Joe and Back the Blue Idaho,
I want to express my gratitude to you and the incredible team of volunteers for the extraordinary meal you provided to the CCSO employees on Christmas Day. The gesture was not only thoughtful but truly heartwarming.
Your unwavering support and dedication to our law enforcement officers did not go unnoticed. The delicious meal served as a reminder of the selfless sacrifices made by these brave individuals, who work tirelessly to keep our community safe, even on holidays.
The generosity and kindness shown by you and your team have left a lasting impact on all of us. It is through acts like these that we are reminded of the power of unity and the importance of coming together as a community.
Wishing you all the best, and may your kindness continue to inspire others to make a difference in the lives of those who protect and serve.

These kinds of gestures remind them that they are appreciated and supported while they engage in their important work! -- James Quackenbush
